TAY - A Cautionary Tale

Can an AI chatbot be your new true friend?

This is a cautionary tale from the distant past of 2016, a comedy with a twist about an AI chatbot that is keen to learn from humans by connecting with us online - what could possible go wrong…?

Inspired by the true story of the launch of the Twitter chatbot TAY in 2016 that did not go to plan. It is an opera adventure full of humour and with heartfelt humanity firmly at its core in this evermore tech seductive reality.  Meet Influencers, Techies, Alexa & Siri, Trolls, Bots and the maybe not too tech savvy Retired Pensioners… The music is fun and evoking with ample percussion and unexpected beauty. It'll be a whirlwind of cyber fun!

Don’t miss this engaging new opera, a most exciting alternative Christmas show for the whole family!
