Term 4 – TUES ARVOS WEEKLY | Homeschool Science (11-14 yr olds)

This is a new class where we will be exploring a breadth of science topics, starting from the beginning of the Stage 4 NSW Science syllabus. 

In our Riverside Science sessions, your child will be engaged with hands-on, practical science activities that help them explore the natural world and better understand how it works! They’ll develop their curiosity as they get the chance to question, predict, investigate, observe, record and discuss their explanations as they undertake a range of experiments. These sessions will explore topics from across the Stage 4 (Years 7/8) Science curriculum eg. Chemistry 🧪, Biology 🦠, Physics 💫 and Earth and Space Science 🪐.

Ages: recommended for 11-14 years old

Curriculum coverage: we will be working our way through the Stage 4 NSW Science syllabus, starting with ‘Chemical World 3’. An outline of the learning activities covered associated with each syllabus outcome will be provided, as well as children receiving a certificate of completion at the end of each topic. This will be very handy for homeschool registration! 

When: workshops run from 12pm – 3pm on a Tuesday, starting on 10th October, 2023. 

Pricing: $35 per session per child. There are 10 sessions in Term 4 = $350
