SLSQ Point Danger Branch (PDB) is the southernmost Branch of Surf Life Saving Queensland, encompassing the beaches from Tallebudgera SLSC to Rainbow Bay SLSC (although at various stages in our history, we spanned as far north as Southport and into northern New South Wales to Fingal and Cudgen). Established in 1924, the Branch was the first surf lifesaving Branch in Australia. Today we have 11 clubs and more than 6,300 members. In November 2024, SLSQ Point Danger Branch will celebrate our 100 year anniversary, the first Branch in the iconic Australian lifesaving movement to reach such a milestone.
