The Regional Galleries Association of South Australia is the peak advocacy body for not-for-profit galleries in regional South Australia. The Association provides a united voice and we support galleries across the state through professional development, training and networking opportunities. ​ The Association strives to advance and protect the interest of regional galleries. We also aim to influence policy in the regional galleries and the broader arts sector, and have developed strategic partnerships with metropolitan institutions. ​ We promote better communication between galleries through our strong network of members. Members meet around five times per year and meetings are used to share information and skills. These meetings normally take place in Adelaide. However, the Association does hold at least one meeting per year in a regional centre.
