The Jane Austen Society of Australia Inc (JASA) was established in 1989, and since then we have grown to be Australia’s largest literary society, with over 600 members in Australia and overseas. We are a volunteer membership association run by Jane Austen enthusiasts aiming to promote and encourage knowledge of Jane Austen’s works and her life and times. Our major print publications Chronicle and Sensibilities are issued twice each year in June and December, and we send an email newsletter from time to time.
