Amarli Army Australia Incorporated is a community-powered organisation inspired by Amarli Broome, a brave young Illawarra girl living with the ultra-rare genetic disorder GRIA2. Following Amarli’s diagnosis, her family, friends and community came together to create Amarli Army and became a movement focused on raising awareness, supporting families and helping fund vital research into rare genetic conditions. Our mission is simple: turn community support into meaningful change. This year, a major focus of our fundraising is helping support research into GRI disorders in the hope of better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. All net proceeds from the Trek for Amarli E-Bike Raffle will be directed by Amarli Army Australia Incorporated to CureGRIN to support vital research into GRI disorders. By bringing together individuals, businesses and the wider community, we aim to create hope, increase awareness and help support the research needed to improve outcomes for children like Amarli. Every ticket purchased helps move that work forward. Together, we are the Amarli Army.
