About This Event
Oi, Tudo bem?
Are you learning Portuguese and looking for a chance to practice real conversation with other learners? This is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!
Saturday morning, once or twice per month, Dr. Lilian brings together a group of people who share the same goals: to strengthen their Portuguese, and become confident, fluent speakers.
Meetings are held at Bunya Creek Reserve, accessible via Albany Creek.
We gather at 9:15am at the starting point and set off around 9:20am for a gentle walk through the bush. Please come prepared with sunscreen, a hat, water, and comfortable walking shoes to enjoy this pleasant immersion in both nature and the Portuguese language. You’ll likely be ready to head home by 10:45am.
PORTUGUESE ONLY! This ensures a truly immersive experience with communication exclusively in Portuguese.
NO PRESSURE. We are all language learners, and we understand that it takes time and patience to express ourselves in a second language. This is a space to build confidence and enjoy the journey.
