About This Event
A moving drama inspired by true events. A story of love, loss, and laughter as Henry, John, Alice, Elizabeth, and Rebecca fight to preserve the works of their friend, William Shakespeare, before they are lost forever. Set in 1619 on London’s vibrant South Bank, they face fire, grief, empty purses, and ruthless publishers in a race to create the very first folio. Step back in time and witness the extraordinary effort that saved Shakespeare’s words and shaped the theatre we know today!
