About This Event
This autumn, Harmless will host its seventh annual online Suicide Bereavement Conference – a space for learning, reflection and connection. Timed to coincide with World Suicide Prevention Day the following week, the conference brings together a series of live, expert-led webinars focused on compassionate, practical approaches to supporting those bereaved by suicide. Our theme for this year's event is The Uncomfortable Truth: Confronting Barriers to Connection in Postvention.
Created for professionals working alongside individuals and communities, this event offers more than just knowledge – it offers hope, inspiration and renewed purpose. Through interactive sessions led by dedicated experts, delegates will gain valuable tools, evidence-based insights, and the confidence to create real-world change in the lives of those who need it most.
This CPD-accredited event will be fully recorded, with all content made available on our E-Learning portal for flexible, on-demand access.
Together, through shared understanding, compassion and commitment, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by suicide.
As in previous years, the conference will be shaped around the following five strategic areas:
• Collaborative partnership
• Service user representation
• Effective practice
• Driving change
• Overcoming stigma and discrimination
Delegate feedback from last year's conference:
'Informative, clear, stigma-busting, insightful and personal. Thank you so much'
'The feedback from those with lived experiences is invaluable and so powerful'
'Excellently presented'
'Full of practical information'
As a small service, Harmless is committed to ensuring this conference is accessible by keeping ticket prices as low as possible. Our goal is to offer genuine value-for-money for access to quality expert speakers. Fees cover administration costs and help to sustain our life-saving support to those impacted by self harm and suicide across the UK.
Please note: Following the conference, each session will be available to view on our E-Learning portal for a limited period, providing the opportunity to re-watch webinars or catch up on anything you may have missed.
