Suffolk Fire Ride 2024

Aldeburgh Fire Station and Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service invite you to take part in our annual cycle sportive, the Suffolk Fire Ride in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity . Starting at the Community centre opposite Aldeburgh Fire Station, we are pleased to announce that this year’s routes will be set amongst the lovely coastal lanes and beautiful rolling countryside found in this area of Suffolk.

Hosted by Aldeburgh Fire Station the ride takes place on Sunday 7th July 2024, and offers a choice of two signed distances – 37 miles and 70 miles.

The Suffolk Fire Ride is a friendly cycle sportive suitable for all levels of riders. We hope you will join us and enjoy some spectacular Suffolk scenery and hot snacks (hopefully a BBQ!) and drinks on your return to the start.

We are at the coast so make it a family day out! We welcome the family of our cyclists to also join us for refreshments and tour of the appliances before or after heading for a lazy, or even active, day at the beach.

The safety and wellbeing of our participants remain at the heart of all our events, please follow all instructions provided by the event organisers.

Date: Sunday 7th July 2024

Venue: Community Centre opposite Aldeburgh Fire Station, Kings Field, Aldeburgh IP15 5EJ

Time: 07.00 registration for an 08.00-08.15 start

Registration opens from 07.00 (please follow guidance provided)

Distances: 37 miles and 65 miles.

The entry fee for either the 37 mile or 70 mile distance is £30 (including registration fees). On the day registration cost £35. This includes hot snacks and refreshment for our riders.

Riders can amend their chosen distance at any time by contacting the event organisers.
