Ever wanted to dabble in sculpture but don’t quite know where to start?

Well in this small sculpture workshop Lee will teach you to create your own unique sculpture on a wood stand that can be for inside or outside.

No welding needed!

Held in conjunction with The Cervantes Art festival and held at Cevantes Recreation Centre

Lee will provide a whole heap of different materials for you to choose from (including 100 year old press tin) and using tinsnips, rivets and  permission to go rogue, you’ll create your very own bird sculpture. Actually, you'll be encouraged to make what evr you fancy...a bird idea is just a departure point. Some people have created fish, rabbits and even an owl.

This course is for ALL levels and you do not need to be artistic to give it a go...beginners are encouraged and we will be helping and guiding you.

Lee will share all his tricks of the trade with you and help you design something that will be uniquely yours.

This workshop is designed for you to have a fabulous day being creative with metal. You will have one on one guidance in a small class setting along with a gentle push to experiment and learn. You'll not only have a finished piece to take home, you'll also be armed with a whole lot of new skills.

The following will be provided:

• All materials to create your sculpture
• Most tools…but if you have at home the following, PLEASE BRING:

          - GOOD GLOVES

           - SAFTY GLASSES

           - battery drill

           - Closed in shoes

• We do need to have a minimun number of participants...if this is not achieved, the workshop will be cancelled and you'll receive a refund.

• Full refund or credit if cancelled with in a week of the workshop.
• No refund if cancelled less than a week but...
• You can transfer your place in the workshop to a friend.
• We hold our own public liability insurance
• If you are unwell or suspect you have covid, please stay at home and a credit for our next workshop will be offered.

Everyone is given the freedom to make what they like...some people even managed two sculptures for the day. We had a small class size so we were able to give individual tuition and guidence.
