About This Event
Join us for an exclusive evening with our speakers Baroness Natalie Bennett and Professor Hugh Montgomery at Southover Church in Lewes on Wednesday 21st May at 7pm.
Get ready to listen to a thought-provoking and inspiring discussion around our future world and how we might change it for the better.
Both our speakers have spent decades researching and understanding some of most important and pressing issues of our time, including how society could be more valuable to those living in it.
Don't miss the chance to engage in what they have to say, as they look at climate, welfare, employment, and food - just for starters - all differently.
Natalie Bennett, a British-Australian politician, and life peer in the House of Lords, has had a political career which has spanned over 25 years. She has recently written a book 'Change Everything', with its bold and hopeful outlook, which will be available on the night.
As a professor of Intensive Care Medicine at UCL, Professor Hugh Montgomery, has authored nearly 500 research papers, co-chaired the Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change, and has written and lectured extensively on the subject of the health impacts of climate change.
For one night, these two experts will open your eyes and make you think again!
Backed by some well thought out strategies and ideas, Natalie and Hugh will encourage you to do more, and to take your own personal action to make our world a better place.
After the conversation, we will open the floor to a Q&A.
Doors open at 6.30pm for a welcome drink.
Talk: 7pm - 8.30pm, including Q&A
