About This Event
About S.B. Keshava Swami
From the young age of 15, Keshava Swami became interested in spirituality. Growing up in the London suburbs, Swami always gravitated towards simplicity, minimalism and solitude, this led him to the devotees in ISKCON London, Bhaktivedanta Manor and there he was introduced to Bhagavad-gita. The usual measures of success, titles, achievements, status symbols and material security never moved his heart and after graduating from University College London (UCL), Keshava Swami became a 21-year-old monk and continues that journey over two decades later.
For over 25 years, he has pursued his spiritual journey and studied ancient Sanskrit texts, resulting in the authorship of 10 books and the design of more than 50 courses. His teachings bridge ancient spiritual wisdom with modern-day life, inspiring people to tackle complex challenges with clarity and resilience, what we call as Wisdom that Breathes.
In 2022, he co-founded Think Gita (www.thinkgita.org), which is now the fastest-growing online portal for learning the Bhagavad-gita in a powerful, exciting and life-changing way.
What will you take away from this session?
In a world where we are constantly surrounded by other people’s achievements, lifestyles and highlight reels, it’s easy to feel like we’re falling behind. The Trap of Comparison invites you to pause and look at how comparison shapes the way you see yourself and your journey. Through practical insights and meaningful reflection, you’ll explore how to move from comparison and self-doubt towards greater confidence, clarity and contentment.
You’ll discover how to:
- Recognise when comparison is affecting your happiness and confidence
- Understand why we compare and how it impacts our mindset
- Build self-worth beyond achievements, appearance and external validation
- Navigate social media without getting caught in the comparison cycle
- Focus on your own growth rather than someone else’s timeline
- Turn comparison into inspiration rather than insecurity
- Develop a healthier perspective on success, purpose and fulfilment
- Feel more grounded, confident and content with your own journey
Because your journey is uniquely yours and it was never meant to be measured against someone else’s.
