In this interactive workshop, product expert Dan Olsen will share advice from his book The Lean Product Playbook on how to think about and prioritize product opportunities. We’ll start by discussing the problem space versus the solution space. Dan will discuss how to understand customer benefits and share a framework for how to prioritize them. Dan will also share advice on how to apply an MVP mindset. Dan will also teach you a simple but powerful framework for prioritizing different feature ideas. Dan will illustrate the concepts with real-world case studies and interactive exercises. This morning workshop will provide a valuable foundation for Dan’s afternoon workshop. You can attend just one of Dan’s workshops, but if you attend both workshops there will be synergies between them.

You will learn how to focus your strategy on customer needs instead of features. You will also learn about the Kano Model and how to apply it to your Product Strategy. And you will learn how to create a Product Strategy Matrix for your product. You will also learn best practices in positioning and messaging your product.
