Mixed Media Fantasy Journal/Notebook Cover (Cards & Craft 4 Kids)

About This Event

We’ll be using mixed media to create a beautiful cover (front & back) for our journal / notebook.

·       There will be a variety of images, from the Spring Forests Fairy Collection, to choose from for the focal point of our front cover.

·       We’ll determine which pastel colour tones best coordinate with our individual front cover image. And then learn to blend different colour inks with water, creating soothing pastels to paint the background of our cover. 

·       We’ll explore how the use of various mixed media and embellishments create texture, dimension, layering, and more.

·       We’ll also use some glitter and gloss to highlight certain features. And sealant to protect delicate areas.

Cost: $40-, which includes all materials

Age:  **9 to 14 years old**

(**if younger children are interested in this Workshop, please let me know & I will organise a separate event with age appropriate journal/notebook design)

General Info:

Workshops are designed to be welcoming and supportive, with a maximum of eight students. Your child will receive individual attention and guidance to ensure they feel confident and empowered throughout the process.

Children to wear appropriately comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes ~ Things may get messy! J  And also bring a drink bottle.

NOTE: Parents/Carers are welcome to remain for the duration of the workshop.  However, please note this would be under cover outside.
