"F*** For Women Scotland" Cabaret!

Back in April 2025 the UK Supreme Court, in a case called For Women Scotland, ruled that under the Equality Act 2010, "woman" excludes trans women, and "man" excludes trans men!

We say: Fuck That!!

Law's a Drag (LAD) are a group of artists, lawyers, and academics who want to improve the lives of drag artists, locally and nationally!

Many of us are trans or nonbinary, or have friends and loved ones who are affected by this, and think this ruling is terrible! 

Join us in a fun, furious festival to fundraise for trans rights legal causes!

DELIGHT in a range of performances from hyper-talented local drag artists! 

RAGE against the oppression of our trans siblings! 

SHOW SOLIDARITY with them through queer joy and fundraising!

EMPOWER YOURSELF as our drag legal scholars, Fox Populi (Dr Rosie Fox) and Alice Aforethought (Dr James Greenwood-Reeves), explain what FWS means for YOU and your community, and what can be done to change it!

Tickets cost just £5. All proceeds will be received by Dr James Greenwood-Reeves and donated to the Good Law Project's fighting fund for trans rights and the advancement of trans people's welfare. Tickets can be bought online or on the door. By attending this event, you undertake to be respectful to each other and to our performers. Some performances may present difficult or adult themes: audience members must be 18+.
