L.M. Montgomery's 150th Birthday

Join me in a special celebration of the 150th anniversary of L.M. Montgomery's birth.

If you too are a kindred spirit, please join me via Zoom on the actual date of L.M. Montgomery’s birthday. I've planned a special 2-hour celebration of her life and writings - there will be talks, activities, guest speakers and more.

If your life has been enriched by reading Anne of Green Gables and its sequels, the Emily books, and the other fabulous novels of Lucy Maud Montgomery then pour yourself a raspberry cordial* (or a glass of wine), cut a slice of ruby jelly layer cake*, and come to tea. We will celebrate this important birthday in fabulously appropriate ways.

Montgomery is one of my favourite authors. Her novels have enriched my life and I love giving talks on her biography, travelling in her footsteps, and reading critical books about her works. Let's celebrate this amazing woman and her fictional world on her actual birthday.

I'll record this event and make the edited video available to all ticket holders free of charge. So if you'd like to attend, but find you can't, you'll still be able to take part at a time that suits you. I do hope you can join me for this very important literary anniversary.
