Hive Inflatables will be in Mackay these school holidays to bring your child fun active play on our Inflatable Obstacle Course. 

Come join the indoor fun at the Mackay PCYC. We will be here for TWO DAYS on

Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of December 2025

We offer a variety of sessions with each session catering to different age groups starting at 18 months up to 12 years old. 

Who's ready to Jump, Climb and Slide their way around our Inflatable Obstacle Course. We will also have a corner set up with soft play where you can stack/build to your imaginations content.

We will be running the following sessions:

Saturday 20th of December

Echidna -   18 Months To 3 Years Old

18 months - 3 Years Old ONLY ($12 Per Child)

9:00am - 9:45am (45 Minute Session)

This session consists of self guided open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with no structured games.Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content.  We require the parent/carer to remain with their child/children throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles.

Additional Needs Session -   2 Years To 12 Years Old

2 Years - 12 Years Old ONLY ($15 Per Child)

10:00am - 10:45am (45 Minutes)

Our Additional Needs Session is specifically for neurodivergent children aged from 2 years to 12 years old. This session provides a supportive, inclusive, and understanding environment and to have a safe space that encourages them to explore, play, participate comfortably and enjoy our Inflatable Obstacle Course at their own pace. To ensure the space truly meets the needs of these children, we kindly ask that neurotypical children refrain from attending this session,with the exception of 1 neurotypical sibling per family (see sibling ticket info below). 

Important Notes:

• Each Neurodivergent child must have a parent or carer over the age of 16 years attend the session with them. This person must remain with the child throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles. It is also up to this person to assist, support and supervise that child.

• For safety reasons, walking aids, mobility devices, or support instruments cannot be used on the inflatables. We also ask that no sharp objects are taken on or near our inflatables. Please consider this before booking to ensure your child’s comfort and safety.

• This Session will only have 25 Spaces Available to ensure each child has the room they require this also includes 10 sibling tickets. 1 neurotypical sibling per family is permitted and requires a separate sibling ticket.
  
  

• This session will contain no structured games and will have no music playing during the session. There will still be some noise due to the continuous blowers for our Inflatables and other background sounds.

Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming experience that allows neurodivergent children to enjoy the Inflatable Obstacle Course in the way that best suits them.

We are leaving the suitability of this session for each child, up to the parent or carer. So please think about the suitability of this session for your child before booking. If you are unsure about the suitability for your child or have any additional questions or concerns please contact us before booking.

Kookaburra - 2 Years To 7 Years Old

2 Years - 7 Years Old ONLY ($13 Per Child)

11:10am - 12:10pm (60 Minute Session)

This session is for 2 years to 7 years old to enjoy self guided open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with no structured games. Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content. For ages  years and under we require the parent/carer to remain on the court with their child/children throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles. We actively encourage the parent/guardian to interact with the child/children during the session. The first 5 Minutes of this session is going over our rules with the children and then they have 55 minutes of play time.

Emu - 3 Years To 10 Years Old

3 Years - 10 Years Old ONLY ($13 Per Child)

12:30pm - 1:30pm (60 Minute Session)

This session is for 3 years to 10 years old to enjoy self guided open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with no structured games. This session is ideal for families with an array of children across the age group.  We have a designated inflatable castle and slide for  6 years and under to enjoy as well as all the other inflatables they can go on. Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content. For ages 4 years and under we require the parent/carer to remain on the court with their child/children throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles. We actively encourage the parent/guardian to interact with the child/children during the session. The first 5 Minutes of this session is going over our rules with the children and then they have 55 minutes of play time.

Kangaroo -    2 Years To 12 Years Old 

2 Years - 12 Years Old ONLY ($15 per child)

2:30pm - 3:50pm (80 minutes)

This session includes a combination of open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with some structured games and challenges that help keep the children engaged and active throughout the 80 minute session. This session is ideal for families with an array of children across the age group.  We have a designated inflatable castle and slide for  under 6 years old to enjoy as well as all the other inflatables they can go on. Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content. For ages 4 years and under we require the parent/carer to remain with their child/children throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles. We actively encourage the parent/guardian to interact with the child/children during the session. The first 5 Minutes of this session is going over our rules with the children and then they have 75 minutes of play time.

Sunday 21st of December

Glider - 2 Years To 5 Years Old

2 Years - 5 Years Old ONLY ($13 Per Child)

9:00am - 10:00am (60 Minute Session)

This session is for 2 years to 5 years old to enjoy self guided open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with no structured games.Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content. For ages 3 years and under we require the parent/carer to remain on the court with their child/children throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles. We actively encourage the parent/guardian to interact with the child/children during the session. The first 5 Minutes of this session is going over our rules with the children and then they have 55 minutes of play time.

Cassowary - 2 Years To 8 Years Old

2 Years - 8 Years Old ONLY ($13 Per Child)

10:20am - 11:20am (60 Minute Session)

This session is for 2 years to 8 years old to enjoy self guided open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with no structured games. We have a designated inflatable castle and slide for  6 years and under to enjoy as well as all the other inflatables they can go on. Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content. For ages 4 years and under we require the parent/carer to remain on the court with their child/children throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles. We actively encourage the parent/guardian to interact with the child/children during the session. The first 5 Minutes of this session is going over our rules with the children and then they have 55 minutes of play time.

Wombat -   5 Years To 12 Years Old

5 years - 12 years old ONLY  ($16.50 Per Child)

11:40am - 12:40pm(60 Minute Session)

This session is for 5  years to 12 years old to enjoy self guided open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with no structured games.Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content. We actively encourage the parent/guardian to interact with the child/children during the session. The first 5 Minutes of this session is going over our rules with the children and then they have 55 minutes of play time.

Dingo - 2 Years To 12 Years Old

2 Years - 12 Years Old ONLY ($13 Per Child)

1:00pm - 2:00pm (60 Minute Session)

This session is for 2 years to 12 years old to enjoy self guided open play on our range of Interactive Inflatables with no structured games. This session is ideal for families with an array of children across the age group.  We have a designated inflatable castle and slide for  6 years and under to enjoy as well as all the other inflatables they can go on. Your child can also enjoy the Soft play corner where they can build to their imaginations content. For ages 4 years and under we require the parent/carer to remain on the court with their child/children throughout the session and accompany them as they go through the obstacles. We actively encourage the parent/guardian to interact with the child/children during the session. The first 5 Minutes of this session is going over our rules with the children and then they have 55 minutes of play time.

Bookings are Essential to secure your spot or you may risk missing out. 

Walk-ins are welcome if the session IS NOT SOLD OUT in which cash or card payments can be made at the session.

Once a session is sold out, No Walk-ins will be available. We do post session availability in the Facebook event before the day of the event.

Parent/ Carer Please Read 

-To ensure the highest standards of hygiene, safety and comfort for all participants, we require that any child who is not fully toilet trained must wear a nappy while using our inflatables. This measure helps prevent accidents and allows us to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all guests. The assistance of the parent/carer will be required to clean any accidents that do occur. 

-The supervising Parent/ Carer do not require a ticket. One ticket is required Per Child to attend the session.

-Please Arrive 5 - 10 Minutes Before your session starts to allow time for check ins and getting seated and ready to start your session. Please do not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before your session otherwise you will be asked to wait outside until check-ins commence. Anyone who arrives after the safety and rules talk (start of session) will be required to hear the safety and rules before play starts. 

-Children are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.

- The first 5 minutes of each session our staff will go over all of the safety rules with the children. Please make sure your child/children are following our Inflatables rules throughout the session.

-We ask that adults do not sit on any inflatables as it may lead to obstructions and pose a safety risk. We also ask that Adults do not sit or stand on any of our Soft Play. Our Soft Play is designed with the weight and size limitations of children in mind, and adults sitting or standing on them can cause damage to the equipment.

- All of our Inflatables are suitable for adults to assist their children. However our Inflatables do not allow wheelchair or walking assists access onto them.

-No sharp objects can be taken onto our inflatables at any time.

- No Face Paint, Silly String, Makeup, Hair Colour Spray / Glitter or Body Glitter is NOT ALLOWED on or near our Inflatables as it will stain them.

- Please make sure your child is not wearing any jewellery as it can cause damage to our inflatables and or the jewellery gets broken and lost.

-The supervising Adult (Parent/Carer) must be over the age of 16 Years old.

-Hive Inflatables have trained and qualified staff constantly monitoring the inflatables during the session. However, it is the parent/s or guardian/s responsibility to supervise and monitor their child/children's behaviour and actions while playing on and around our inflatables throughout the session. It is up to the parent/s or guardian/s to make sure their child stays safely at the event during the session's time.

- NO FOOD OR DRINK is to be taken onto the courts at any time.

-We recommend bringing a water bottle for your child. No other food or drinks are to be brought into the event please. If you wish to bring a coffee or drink for yourself (Parent/ Carer) then that is okay to do so. 

-We strongly advise that you “Like” and “Follow” our Hive Inflatables Facebook page and select the current MACKAY Event, click on either “Going” or “Interested” to keep up to date with any updates on the event and ticket availability for each session. 

Disclaimers

• Please note that there is a booking fee that will be added onto the ticket price. 

• If you have purchased a ticket and are no longer able to attend, you can onsell the ticket/s, however Hive Inflatable does not take any responsibility for any resale of tickets.

• Our Refund Policy is as follows; Tickets are refundable for up to 3 days before the event. Bookings fee is non-refundable.

• This event may be Photographed and Filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to have your child photographed, please advise us upon entry to the session you are attending.
