Gajini Gajaana Gaali (கஜினி கஜானா காலி) is a Full length (running time 3 hours including break) Tamil Comedy Stage Play

Seating is on a First Come Best Seated basis. So, please arrive early to secure the best seats in the house. 

There is limited free parking on the school premises and ample street parking outside the school as well. 

This is a live theatre - stage play production with a running duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes (with a 30 minute intermission). 

Show starts at 4:30 PM on 31st August and will approximately end at 7:30 PM.

1. Is this event a short film, feature film or live theatre?

This is a live theatre production. A full length Tamil Comedy Stage Drama similar to the ones we have all enjoyed back in our home towns. 

2. Is the seating numbered? Will I get to sit with my friends?

Seating arrangement is on a First Come First Seated basis. Please ensure you retain digital copies of your tickets on your phone for the ushers to scan you in. Seating starts from 4PM . Please arrive early to get the best seats in the house. If you want to sit with your friends as a group, please check in together. 

3. Can we purchase food and snacks during the play?

Takeaway South Indian food and snacks will be sold by our sponsors during intermission and after the event. No food is allowed to be consumed within the auditorium.

4. Who are Melbourne Talkies?

Melbourne Talkies is a Not for Profit, Melbourne based Tamil speaking community theatre group. Our main objectives include (a) Keeping the art of the Tamil Stage dramas alive here in Australia and (b) Develop and Nurture local talents in acting, directing, script writing, art direction etc. All members of Melbourne Talkies are unpaid volunteers.
