About This Event
2 nights, 2 great sessions.
Come to one, or both. The choice is yours!
Session 1 (Wed 27th March from 6pm-8pm): Educator wellbeing in ECEC: Practical tools for sustainable performance
Everything educators need to look after themselves and each other, in one practical session.
Early childhood education is high-care and high-demand. When educators are depleted, it shows up everywhere: in their health, in their relationships with children and families, and in how the room runs. This session brings together the fundamentals of physical health, energy management, stress regulation, and team wellbeing into one practical, interactive experience. Educators leave with realistic tools they can use on and off the floor, straight away.
Key outcomes:
- Practical health habits for sleep, movement, nutrition, and daily routines adapted for ECEC life
- Simple tools to manage and restore energy across a demanding shift
- Stress regulation strategies to stay calm and grounded under pressure
- Team communication and support skills to reduce friction and strengthen trust
Session 2 (Thu 28th March from 6pm-8pm): Working Well Together - Everyday Conflict Skills
Language and steps to handle friction with teammates or families before it escalates.
This session equips educators with simple language, clear steps, and confidence to manage everyday friction with colleagues or families before it escalates. You'll walk away with strategies you can use immediately to reduce tension and resolve issues early.
Key outcomes:
- Practical language and steps to de-escalate everyday friction
- Skills to prevent misunderstandings from becoming bigger issues
- A calmer, more respectful approach to team and family relationships.
