About This Event
 An Amazing Concert This Saturday!Â
.  Please share this event with friends and family!
Join us as we block off Ada BLVD for a very special event featuring Juno Award winner Maria Dunn. This concert combines powerful music, art, and human rights awareness — all while supporting a local refugee family.
 About Maria Dunn
For those who don’t know Maria, she has performed for audiences of up to 20,000 people at FolkFest in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Washington, D.C., Glasgow, and many more venues.
 Supporting a Refugee Family
We will be raising funds for a local Kurdish refugee family. One of the daughters will be painting live during the concert, and you’ll have the chance to meet the whole family.  Half of the proceeds will go toward helping this family reunite with two sisters still in a refugee camp in Kurdistan, and the other half will support public art projects along Ada Boulevard.
 Human Rights Presentation
Members of the Iranian community will also be giving a short presentation on human rights in Iran.
