About This Event

Cabin Games Con is a relaxed, budget-friendly weekend retreat where tabletop gamers can escape the everyday and enjoy great games, good food, and even better company. 

Set in a cosy camp-style environment, the event brings together a small group of players for a weekend of board games, card games, and social fun. Spend your days discovering new favourites, tackling epic challenges, and sharing laughs around the table. When the games pause, gather around the communal fire pit, enjoy hearty meals included in your ticket, and soak up the welcoming atmosphere. It’s like school camp — for tabletop gamers!

Important: For insurance and safety reasons, sleeping at Cabin Games Con is exclusively 18+.
No drugs, tobacco or alcohol will be consumed at the premises. 

There will be casual gaming throughout the weekend, and a growing list of scheduled events run by volunteers.

Cabin Games Con is all about comfort - and that means knowing your convention meals are sorted!

    • Lamb Koftas in a Tortilla Wrap with Lettuce, Cucumber, Tomato and Parmesan Cheese
  • Dinner 
    • Slow Cooked Chicken in Soy Sauce with Vegetables & Rice

    • Ice Cream Sundaes with Chocolate Syrup, Lollies, Whipped Cream & Sprinkles 

• Sunday 
  • Breakfast
    • Sausage & Egg English Muffin with Assorted Condiments

    • Grilled Halloumi & Bacon Wrap with Spinach Tomato & Onion Relish

Want to contribute? Love a bargain? 

We are still seeking helpers to make the weekend amazing: 

2 x Game Masters - Run a three hour game session in exchange for a big discount! Your session should accommodate up to 8 people. Some ideas to get you started: teach your favourite gateway titles, hold a Flip 7 tournament, re-fight the Battle of Waterloo, or run one-shot indie RPGs.

3 x Game Creators - Do you write or design games? We want to open the event for selling, playtesting and showing off upcoming work. If you're working on the next big thing, get in touch for a special discounted rate.  

2 x Camp Volunteers - Help out with the boring stuff in exchange for a free weekend! Welcome campers and hand out information packs to everyone, as well as being generally available to help out. Otherwise you're completely free to join in the camp.

The Accommodation

Cabin Games Con isn't about luxury - but it is about comfort. Beds are single size with inner spring mattress, and all of the rooms are air-conditioned. 

The numbers in each room range from 4 to 8. 

Important Note 1: Most of the beds are bunk style, so you'll be given the choice of upper or lower beds when booking. 

Important Note 2: you will need to bring your own pillow, bedding, and bath towels!
