Bonfire and Stargazing Night

About This Event

Join us for a memorable Bonfire and Stargazing Night—an evening of warmth, wonder, and community under the stars.

Be guided through the night sky by a professional astronomer from the Gravity Discovery Centre, featuring a special presentation and the chance to explore the cosmos through a number of telescopes. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the incredible universe above us.

On the ground, enjoy a cozy bonfire set up by our Emergency Services Cadets in the bush area to the east of the College —perfect for gathering with friends, keeping warm, and roasting marshmallows.

Set up a picnic on the oval as a starting point to enjoy the different activities.

Hamburgers and Sausage Sizzles will be available to purchase from the canteen in advance or on the night along with drinks, snacks, and glowsticks.

What to Bring:

* Mozzie Spray

* Chairs, rug, blankets

* Warm clothes and enclosed shoes

* Food, drink (incl marshmallows for roasting)

To Note:

* RSVP is essential to help us plan for the evening.

* Students require a parent or responsible adult to be in attendance with them. Throughout the night, parents and responsible adults are required to supervise the students in their care.
