About This Event

Welcome to Backyard Sessionz Aotearoa. 

Born in the midst of the challenging 2020 lockdown dayz, where musicians in Auckland yearned for a way to ignite the ‘live jam’ with their peers, and re-connect with deprived audiences. 

Today, we proudly present a whanau initiative that brings live music to a Clevedon, Auckland South backyard….. in a relaxed atmosphere (BYO / please drink responsibly). It's an R18 event that not only lets you enjoy an offering of world class vibrations for the soul, but they’re all ‘local artists’. 

Backyard Sessionz in Clevedon, will be an unforgettable experience for music lovers and a lifeline for our thriving music community.  Bring your own picnic chairs, gazebos, chilli bins and good-vibes!

 ARDIJAH – Poly Fonk legends

 TIN CITY – Soulfiul and tight 5-piece / powerful delivery of ‘classic covers’ repertoire

 SON & WATER – led by Jamey and Diamond Ferguson – Roots Reggae vibes

 BEAU MONGA – Looping and beatboxer extraordinaire performs known and new tracks from his upcoming album.

 KT SOULJAH – Kayden Ngapera ‘an old soul’ at only 18 years of age.  Expresses the deep emotion of his whanau-first stories over soul/hip-hop/blues.

CANCELLATION / POSTPONEMENT: In the unlikely event of adverse weather (Hazardous venue) Backyard Sessionz Aoteroa will offer a postponement date or process a refund (excluding booking & transaction fees).  A minimum of 4 days notice will be communicated via email to ticket holders / attendees.
