About This Event
There's no shortage of AI hype. What's harder to find is a straight answer. What can it really do? Where does it fit in an organisation like mine? What are the risks I should genuinely worry about, and which ones are noise?
AI, Actually. is a relaxed, plain-English half-morning for business and government leaders who want the real picture. No jargon, no sales deck, no assumed technical knowledge. Just two practitioners who use AI daily in their own businesses, showing you what's real and answering what you've actually been wondering.
Across the morning we'll cover:
- What today's AI can genuinely do, and its honest limitations
- Where AI fits (and doesn't): a simple way to think about which problems in your organisation are worth pointing it at
- A live demonstration: watch a working application come to life in front of you, then see what it takes to turn a clever demo into something a real team would trust
- The rules of the road: the new federal Office of AI, Queensland's FAIRA framework, data sovereignty, and what to do about staff quietly using personal AI accounts
- Your questions, actually answered: open discussion time is built into every session
