About This Event
Podcast Book Club's 2026 Audio Fiction Convention is a virtual community event celebrating all things fiction podcasting. The event will be held primarily through the PBC Discord server, with panels being streamed via Twitch. Participation is completely free, with the option to upgrade to a donation ticket if you wish to support the project financially. The con will run on a 24-hour schedule to accommodate the widespread timezones of attendees, panelists, and event staff. AuFiCon, like most conventions, will host a variety of panels and events, an artist alley, games, and more.
Further details regarding the event schedule, guest speakers, panel topics & similar information will be shared closer to the event. See the below section, "Community Goals", for ways to unlock some of the exciting things we have in store ahead of the full schedule announcement. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us via email at mail@podcast-bookclub.com, via server ticket in the Discord, or by putting in a support request on our website.
If you're unfamiliar with the bookclub - hi! We're a Discord-based community of podcast fans and creators that spend our days sharing and enjoying audio fiction. Affectionately shorthanded to "the PBC", our work most often takes the form of various server projects that serve to encourage creativity and foster community online. Since 2023 we have hosted three podcast creation events boasting nearly 300 combined sign-ups, and last year's AuFiCon saw over 800 attendees join via Twitch, continutally trying to find innovative ways to celebrate audio fiction every day. We sincerely hope you enjoy year two of the con, and we can't wait to catch you in the server sometime soon!
