New Castle Trails' 2025 Rides & Reggae Festival is a celebration of trail running, mountain biking, music, and community. Rides & Reggae includes a weekend full of fun including live music from local and national reggae & funk influenced bands, bluegrass bands, and Mountain Biking and Trail Running races for all ability levels on the Colorow and Highlands Trail Networks.  Purchase your Race Entries, your Free Friday & your Saturday Tickets today!

Not into MTB racing or trail running?  No problem, just come down to Down Valley Brewing on Main Street for Friday's FREE live music, and then on Saturday head to VIX Ranch Park, and toss a blanket on the ground to take in the beautiful views from Castle Valley Ranch while listening... and DANCING to amazing live music.

Kids 13 and under FREE (with selected ticket).

NO DOGS ALLOWED INSIDE THE FESTIVAL, sorry pups!

Friday August 1,  6:00pm-10pm (Downtown New Castle venue - Down Valley Brewing (formerly Drifter's Cafe) -  589 Main Street, New Castle, CO.) (Please 'purchase' Free tickets to help us estimate attendance!)

NEW CASTLE DIRTY DOZEN TRAIL RUNNING RACE

6:00 pm start from VIX Ranch Park. 10k course with approximately 1,100 feet of climbing. 

(7:50pm or later time TBD - Trail Running Race Awards at Down Valley Brewing.)

August 2, 7am-10pm, VIX Ranch Park, New Castle, CO - 

NEW CASTLE DIRTY DOZEN MTB RACE

-7:00 am start from VIX Ranch Park. 20 mile course with approximately 3,800 feet of climbing.

NEW CASTLE DIRTY HALF DOZEN MTB RACE

-9:30am start from VIX Ranch Park. 7 mile course with approximately 1,000 feet of climbing.

(12pm - MTB & Combo Race Awards at Down Valley Brewing (formerly Drifters Cafe), 589 W. Main St., New Castle.)
