As adults, we spend our days fulfilling our responsibilities and obligation in our various job roles.
Our focus tends to be what’s around us. We’re addicted to the digital world. We’re detached from our inner self. Our feelings and emotions don’t always get processed or resolved by the time we get to bed. These unresolved pain can get lodged in our tissues.
We hold tensions or have chronic pain in our body whether we exercise or not. Some tensions are constitutional, some are our habitual postures.
We know yoga is good for us, but we don’t have time or are too busy to practice.

This 2-hour workshop is designed for you to feel timeless. Spend time in a beautiful, safe space to roll, release and tune in to your inner world. This workshop has the potential benefits to improve mobility and flexibility in the joints, to clear away the muddiness and find clarity, to soothe the nervous system for calm and serenity.
✔️Pranayama practice (purposeful breath practice)
✔️Roll, compress and release tight myofascial tissues in our body.
✔️Stress and lengthen fascia in yin yoga shapes.
What is myofascial tissue? Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around the muscle fibres (myofascia) and all around our bones and organs (ligaments/tendons) like clingwrap to hold us together. These tissues have more sensors and functions than initially thought.
What is yin yoga? ‘Yin‘ as opposed to ‘yang‘ is slow and passive as opposed to dynamic movement that many of us associate yoga with. Yoga is yuj (union) – both the state and the practices to attain the state. In yin yoga, we hold and relax in the poses for 3-5 mins (or longer) to allow the fascia to lengthen. Dynamic yang yoga tends to involve muscles and creates heat in the body.
No yoga experience necessary.
