Beautiful Darkness Women’s Workshop

Hello There!

I’m so glad you’ve decided to join me at The Beautiful Darkness Workshop, I can’t wait to meet you.

Here are a few things you need to know about the workshop, so you can get the most out of our time together.

Beautiful Darkness is a Midwinter Workshop offering a beautifully held and nourishing space to explore the gifts that lie within our rich inner darkness. Women have traditionally come together seasonally to connect more deeply with the land they walk, with themselves, and with others. There is immeasurable magic in feeling seen, being heard, and in sharing our journeys.

Using movement, shadow journaling, ritual and guided meditation, we are invited to meet our edges and discover the medicine that lies within. Having prepared the soil, we can then plant the seeds we wish to sow for the unfolding of the next phase of our lives.

Wear something comfortable to move in. Please bring a cosy blanket, a journal, pen, a packet of seeds and any personal demons you’d like to get to know. 😉

If you would like to bring something special for the seasonal altar, please feel free to do so. All sacred items will be returned at the end of the night.

Feel free to share this event with your friends and community. We all need a little space in our lives to meet ourselves gently where we are.

Cost is $75

Venue Address is: The Uniting Church Hall, 49 Nelson Street, Apollo Bay.

If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact me. We want to make our events as inclusive and accessible as possible.

About Me:

Kat is a teacher with over 20 years of experience of deep inner work with women. She holds sacred space with warmth and humour and she firmly believes that spiritual work doesn’t have to be serious to be sacred.

Aside from writing and being the mother of a brace of character-building teenagers, she spends her time mentoring women to fully embrace being ‘middle-aged’ and showing them how to regain their sparkle and make their midlife the most fulfilling, extraordinary part of life so far.

She is a restless nomad in love with family travel, gin, swearing and knitting, though not necessarily in that order.
