Here at our Sip and Dip we offer FUN art not FINE art, enjoy a guided learn to make class!

 

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of pottery? This is the perfect beginner class! 

Create a gorgeous beach themed driftwood wall hanging with examples on hand and various clay/glaze colours to choose from. Don’t miss this limited opportunity in a small class setting. Come along to this small intimate event where you’ll learn how to create and string up your own indiviidual driftwood wall hanging. You’ll choose your driftwood and gain some insight in to the techniques, tips & tricks involved with creating, glazing, firing, and stringing up ceramic pieces. You’ll also learn about the characteristics of the clay, glazes and firing processes involved. Your amazing host Wendy, from Lil Miss Potty Mouth will guide you through the process of making your very own wall hanging using clay, pottery tools, and textured material so that your piece will be ready for firing with a glossy durable colour finish. There will be a range of designs and colours, and driftwood to choose from, as well as a seperate demonstration on the day, showing you how to string and hang your piece once fired and collected. There will be examples on hand to inspire you so that you can create a piece that suits you and your decor. Attendees will create on the day. Wendy takes care of the rest! She will take your creations away to kiln fire and return them to SipnDip for collection. Beginner level, examples on hand, no experience needed.
