Homeschool Art Studio A weekly drop-in art class where the homeschool students (and their families!) are the ARTISTS and there's no wrong way to create!

When? Every* Friday starting September 25th from 3-4pm  *off on 11/6 and 11/27

This is the first time we've had a class that is drop-in style! If attendance stays consistent, we will continue to keep this class going all school year long! We may also create package deals & discounts in the future.

Where? at The Arc Jacksonville Villages in an activity room

It's a big room with a large group table for everyone to sit at and create together. We are going to start off the classes as drop in, meaning you will stay with your child during the class. We may open up the opportunity to drop off your student, after we are all familiar with eachother.

Who? All homeschooling/unschooling families are welcome. This studio is for all ages and abilities & is Neurodivergent friendly. There will be a limit of 8 students and their families in the class in order to keep things comfy in the class & have seating for students & families.

What will the class be like? This is not your traditional art class. This is an art studio where everyone who enters is welcome to explore & create at their own pace. Art teacher Meg will start off the class with a quick mini-lesson about the studio materials and then the studio is yours! During this time,  you can expect to explore, experiment, collaborate, observe, get inspired, learn, make mistakes, perservere, have fun, destress & make art! Afterwards, we will work together to clean up the studio & share about our artmaking experience.

How much does it cost?  $35 per student; families are included in the price (parents, caregivers, siblings ages 3 and under free)

How will I pay? There are two ways to pay. You can pay through the event bookings platform by purchasing a ticket for $35 OR you can "purchase" a free ticket & send a request on Step up for Students, as we are a Direct Pay provider.
